Home School Programming
- Tuesdays starting September 7
- 13 weeks (or classes if needed)
- 1:00 PM to either 2:00 or 2:30 PM depending on number of participants
- $160.00 semester commitment
- Up front payment $144.00 + AAU registration
Travel Team Requirements / Costs
Camps
- We attend a weekend training camp in the Fall (late Sept.) and in the spring (Feb/March) @ UGA
- Parents must attend with diver or have other guardian appointed – local hotel information is available
- There are 6 sessions available (2 Fri, 2 Sat, 2 Sun) – 4 are recommended for best results.
- Cost - $30 registration and $30 per session
- Summer camps are available (5-7 days) – costs vary and USAD membership may be required. ($20/$75)
Invitational meets
- We usually attend 1 or 2 invitational meets in the fall; 3 in the spring
- They usually include divers from AL, N. FL, GA., and TN.
- Entry fees usually $15 per event
- Meet is usually 1 day
- Coaching fees $40 per diver (covers warm up on Fri. and meet on Sat.)
Regional meets
- Usually attend spring (Feb/Mar) and Summer (June)
- Include divers from nearby states (option to go north, east, west)
- Meet is usually 2 days
- Coaching fees $40 for one day (one day); $65 for 2 days (both boards)
- Must be a member of USA Diving ($75 per year)
National level meets
- There are 2 USA Diving Nationals (spring; summer)
i. Spring is ½ of country (either East or West)
ii. Summer is all of the country (must attend regionals and zones)
- One AAU nationals (late summer)
i. All country – must meet qualifying score
Fundraising
Nobody enjoys fundraising, but with the amount of potential travel and the costs associate with coaches travel expenses,
it is a necessity. It keeps overall costs down and offers opportunities to maintain/purchase equipment.
We now have our 501c3 letter and can accept donations/gifts that are tax deductible.
