Programs for home school students are available when there is enough interest. This is usually defined as 4 or more students willing to commit to a semester of training.
All participants will be required to register with AAU. This form of insurance will also cover those who chose to travel. Those who wish to participate in USA Diving camps and meets may be required to pay additional fee.
Option 1 - Pool Training
- Pool training consists of 1 or 2 practice sessions per week. Students are encouraged to perfect skills while challenging themselves to new skills and dives. Each student keeps a notebook with a checklist of items to master. While working at their own pace, divers will receive points for mastering skills and learning new dives. At the completion of each level, they will receive a certificate for that level. Periodically, students may be invited to attend meets.
Option 2 - Trampoline Training*
- Dryland and trampoline training is a fun way to learn the basics of balance, technique, strength and flexibility. Classes are held either 1 or 2 days a week and allow students to practice the dive motions outside of the pool environment.
*Trampoline is not always available, please check with the coach for more information.
